Things are looking up-ish...

So over the last few weeks things have been great... I mean, Hull City in the Premiership, Hull FC through to the semi's of the challenge cup Its all good...

On a bad note though I have fallen out with one of my friends... not through choice. Evidently she saw something I had written and didnt like it, but more on that in a second...

We had gone out on Friday night last week, after she had broken up with her partner again. We decided to go out with one of my friends to have a few drinks and watch a band. My friend decided to park outside the flat she had shared with the partner... She had also managed to talk a guy she knew into going out and would be picking him up later. So, she ended up leaving to go and pick this guy up at about 10ish. When they came back I smiled and all that jazz... involved them in the convo... Id gone to the loo and the guy to the bar and when we got back my friend had vanished... I text her and asked her where she had disappeared to and waited for a reply.

During my wait me and the guy really got on, the band finished playing and we went to the next pub... just had a giggle and stuff, I ended up somehow inviting myself back to his... but nothing happened. my head hit the pillow and i was snoring away The next day he had to go to wait, but he asked me to hang around and gave me a key so I could go out and get some milk, and let myself back in. He wanted to hang out with me when he got back from work... Being a girl i decided to go home, freshen up and then go back... I ended up staying over that night too, again nothing happened. On the sunday we decided we actually liked each other and decided to go on a few dates and stuff... as b/f and g/f.

So I rang my friend being the honest person I am and told her. she wasnt best pleased to say the least and said some pretty nasty stuff about him, In the end I said thanks for your concern but I will make my own decision etc... the next day she refused to tlk to me and blocked and deleted me But me and the guy are still having fun, I stayed over on wednesday and we had a bottle of wine (still no funny business)We just get each other...

We like the same music, we have a similar outlook on life/sense of humour etc... its just nice to be able to chill with someone etc... I dunno... Im just enjoying the company... so watch this space..

Bone Marrow...

If you have been watching the news recently I am sure you will have seen the plight of the young man from west yorkshire who has been diagnosed with 2 different types of Leukaemia. Due to there being 2 types of Leukaemia present all of the treatments, including a bone marrow transplant and 2 cycles of chemo/radiotherapy have failed to keep him in remission. He has now decided not to fight anymore and has turned his attention to using everything possible to raise awareness for bone marrow donors.

There are 7000 people. Adults and children in the UK at the moment awaiting a suitable donor... I intend to make sure that if I am suitable for any of these people that I can help.

To do this I need to lose weight, about a stone. I have wanted to lose weight for a while and now I have a reason. So my route to bone marrow donation starts with a diet. I have had glandular fever in the past so hopefully because it was many years ago my bone marrow will be suitable.

If anyone else decides that they want to look into donating, and give someone the chance to beat their illness into remission then you need to join the register at the anthony nolan trust at www.anthonynolan.org.uk

Its a new dawn....

So this weekend has been a bit of a bust. I went out friday night... It wasnt really that good I'd have rather stayed at home... And then I stayed in Sat and Sunday night. Doesnt even feel like I had a weekend... I have been trying to organise a trip to Dublin for my Birthday It looks like I have finally got it together Whoop

Thats pretty much it now... I dont really have anything else to say because things aren't that great at the minute... Darren isnt really talking to me, I think things are very bad with him and his Mrs and I think he has just realised how bad things are... So I feel a bit lost really...

First Blog... Here goes!!!

So... Its on a moderatley warm afternoon in Hull that I find myself slipping away from working to write my first proper blog, random... I reckon this thing is just going to end up being full of random nonsense babble... but better I write it here than go insane eh??

So I'll set the scene... Its sunny outside... not sure how warm it is because Im stuck in a shitty office doing work that doesnt interest me at the minute for people that seem to be doing a good job of stabbing me in the back... unless its just me being paranoid...

The weekend was pretty cool. I will tell you about that rather than bore you with the whole, today I came to work and thought seriously about quitting shite.

Yeah so Friday night was chilled, I stayed in. Im pretty skint so I have been staying in a lot recently. In the words of Staind "I've stretched myself beyond my means". What with the previous bank holiday and getting super drunk way to much... anyway back to this weekend. I woke up about 6am on Saturday but I refuse to be robbed of my lay ins and made myself lay in bed until at least 9... Once I had my weekly dose of shipwrecked (lucky buggers) and had watched Jaws 3 I decided I should sit in the garden and try and catch some sun as I must admit I'm a bit pasty to say the least. So I sat out for about an hour... I'm a natural born fidget and I have to be doing things I cant just sit and do nothing.

Turned out there was a BBQ down at my Aunties so I went there and met the new baby and stuff... I actually fed a baby for like, the first time it was weird. But I enjoyed it... I do want kids at some point, but not right now. My plan needs to be in action first

Speaking of that I met a really nice guy couple a weeks ago... Called Darren. He int single but he seems to be having a lot of trouble with his mrs. From what I can gather she cheated on him last year some time and there is a bit of a trust issue and that. Met him 2 weeks ago on thursday and I reckon we'll be pretty good mates. I completely fancy the arse off him... which he is well aware of. He tells me that he kinda likes me too but obviously while he is with the mrs thats all it will be. I aint sure what is going on in the camp though. Apparently she is moving out for a while so I guess it'll be make or break.

So yeah after the BBQ on Sat I woke up after a shit nights sleep on Sat night and I picked Darren up and we went to Hornsea for a walk along the beach and some fish and chips... well I say fish and chips... Im a veggie so it was a patty for me, and he cant eat batter so it was a sausage for him. But I had a fab day. We had a really good chat and we dont ever have nothing to talk about... We got back to Hull and I nipped in to see what the score on the footy was... 2 - 0 to Hull City rock on... the dog met him... she is usually pretty weary of strangers... especially tall guys, but she just sniffed him and seemed to like him haha... Then we went to pub and watched the 2nd half. 3 Ciders later... One magners and two honey beers for his brucey bulmers bonus... Haha... but yeah all in all I had a wicked day yesterday. He is cool... Glad I met him... even if things aren't the ideal at the moment. Im proper sunburnt tho...lol... I love the smell of aftersun tho so I reckon I'll cope...

Had a relatively early night. Did a few quests on World of Warcraft... Watched Legally Blonde and had a full nights sleep... makes a change... Ah well I reckon I should get back to work shouldnt I... Wish me well fuckers...
